Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
Simply stated, Zombpocalyse is a no-frills action arcade shooter; reminiscent of the 8-bit era, but with next generation flare.
In the recent events of a world wide outbreak, a system has been put into effect by the nations around the world to eliminate the threat. You play as a civilian who has been selected to reduce the zombie population with the promise of cold hard cash. Your payout will be determined as you embark on a killing spree that is sure to satisfy the most rabid zombie-stomping fans. Use quick reflexes and advanced weaponry to tear through the swarms of undead but think fast because these aren’t your average zombies.

Slightly older computers that meet the minimum requirements should run much faster if they turn their "Light Quality" setting to "Lightmap" in the Options screen. You might even like the softness of the lightmaps over the harder dynamic shadows.

A bit of sad news today; I did not make the cut into IGF this year. I wish the best of luck to the finalists.
I am currently working on a final (for sale) build of the game with some solid additions that I hope everyone will enjoy.

An updated trailer has been added to YouTube. It's a little shorter than the original trailer. I think the original was too long anyways. Check it out in glorious widescreen HD =) .
